The Village Walk for Cancer Research provides these free educational events to our community so we can learn more about progress being made in cancer research and treatments. Join us September 6th, 11:30am for lunch and hear Dr. Nathan Littlejohn share advances in prostate cancer treatments.
In addition, we'll hear from Foundation Medicine on how genomic profiling matches patients with targeted treatments and clinical trial options.
September 6, at Diamante Country Club.
Reservations required, space is limited. To register, click here. Hint: to register quickly, register as a guest.
Saturday, October 26, 2024
Come to the Woodlands parking lot Saturday October 26 starting at 9:00, when the Village Walk for Cancer Research (WFCR) will host a shred day just for you! Bring your old documents and your small electronic devices that either plug into the wall or have batteries, and Rock Solid Shredding and eSCO will take care of the rest (no refrigerators, air conditioners with coolant or gas lawn mowers, please). You will be greeted by WFCR volunteers as you arrive. Collection will continue until the truck is full. Your donations will be added to our 2024 fundraising, all of which goes toward grants in support of cancer research and related projects.
Join your friends in this fun event to take place at the Walk on September 28th.
